A small border outpost on the Yugoslav-Albanian border in the spring of 1987. Frustrated and perpetually drunk, Lieutenant Pasic began to feel a strange burning in his groin. He calls for help from the only medic among his soldiers, Siniša, who diagnoses him with venereal disease. Because he does not want his wife to find out, and because he has to find an excuse not to return home for a while, Pasic declares a state of emergency.
